  • Unwanted duplicate object in odd position.

    Hi,
Can someone help me solve this problem, I have opened an old scene(use to be luxrender) and update the main materials to vrayblender. Strangely there are lug units floating in the air, 2 in middle at top of image and another visible in the left-top corner.
The object structure I believe of the lug to its position in the scene is as:

Lugs objects (screw mesh, lug mesh, screw head mesh)
    :
Into single unit of [Lug] Group
    :
[Lug] group instance around individual different size drums (using empties)
    :
Drum and lugs for that drum are grouped
    :
[Drum and lugs instances] group are instanced again (using empty) into main layer and in position.

Btw this render in 9minutes (how good is vray and vblender! )

It seems as though it is not objects out of position but extra objects.
Here is a different view, I think there will be more out from the camera too.

I can send blend file if you like 25mb, but there is lot of parenting to wrap head around (I did this so I could easily customize).

    Thanks for any thoughts.

    Hi!
Yep, this is a bug ((
I could only suggest to instance objects without grouping until I fix it...

      Hi
      Thanks for reply.
This was just testing the render so not terribly important.

Btw in the near future I think of supporting some, I think about buying 14 vray blender's/ 9 bundles (~200usd/aud) because Vblender is an important tool and I would like to encourage. I realize this is not a huge amount but it's something, what do you think of the method? (international transfer is not as easy)
