    Hi all,

    First of all, scuse me for my english..

    I'm searching for two output settings in Vray blender (here for tga image) :
    - where can i find the "pre-multiplied" option while saving my alpha map?
    - where can i specify "32bit" (cause i need 32b (or 16b) for straight alpha) for tga file? (or png if it's supported).

    1. Afair we only have "No alpha" option now.
    2. This is only available for tiff and exr by now. Standalone's TGA plugin has no bittness contols PNG has only 8 or 16 bit (16 default)

    I just have no access to the new standalone builds by now so cant say if there are any additions/changes for this controls.

      Thanks a lot bdancer for the fast answer.

      I resolved my problem by using blender to do my alpha over operation (as blender support straight and premul alpha).

      Other question for you

      I supose you already read this note from Brecht : http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Dev:2 ... rEngineAPI

      It's about the new API for render Engine integration (that should support real time preview, node shader etc).

      I'm not sure it can works with Vray renderer.. (it could be fun to have node shader and Vray RT).

      Do you have any idea about that?

        Its already used.
        Some node materials are already supported as well as some node textures setups.
        About vray rt - it can't be used with interactive update by now.

          I've just try for the first time the "update exporter" button (exporter panel).
          Seems to doesn't work here.

            It works but you need to update you build ether - there vere some incompatible changes in blender api. New build is available.

              Yup, but i can't find any Win 64b build

              i will try the 32b, waiting for a more recent 64b build on the forum.

                i repost here cause it's most the place for question
                First, thank's for buildbot 64b update
                Then two question :

                - "Export mesh" button is missing is new export. We have to check/uncheck auto export before each render if we want to lock/unlock export?
                - What's new about the "round edge" Vray feature in blender? Or maybe about a correction for the "edge tex" tricks in bump map?

                  "Export mesh" button is missing is new export. We have to check/uncheck auto export before each render if we want to lock/unlock export?
                  This option behaives exactly the same as in previous version (it export meshes on render press, then rest of the scene and launches render) - its just turned on by defaul now.
                  If you want it to be turned off - load default scene, disable it and save as default scene.

                  What's new about the "round edge" Vray feature in blender?

                    "round edge" feature is in git. Its located in Material -> Render -> Round edges

                        Still get an error while "updating exporter". Process tried to acces a file in user/appsata/local/temp witch is already use by another process.
                        I found this file and killed it, but this file is use by Vray/blender and it's created during the "update exporter". So, blender create it and try to acces it but he can't cause blender already use it.. it's a bit strange.

                        I use your latest build (r42200)

                            Thanks, ll check that asap. == Checked, works fine

                            New error while saving image in png format(i just update my exporter from git)
                            On Save button press (in Vray frame buffer), console error :

                            libpng error : Invalid bit depth in IHDR

                            then, it saves an empty png (0 ko)

                              Hi, this erros is gone if I chose 8 or 16 bit png instead of default 32 (unsupported?)
