Ladder example scene for 2.6?

Hi,

I'm totally new with this V-ray and are testing the ladder example scene and it's way over exposed and found another thread explaining how it was made for Blender 2.4 and that things have changed so much in 2.5 that the scene needs reconfiguration.
Does anyone have a reconfigured scene or know what is needed to make it look right?

I think it would be very helpful for other newbies like me if others could upload more example scenes.
It's so much easier to learn when you have good examples to test

It's the ladder scene here for Blender 2.4 which looks very nice.

But rendering it in 2.6 gives a heavily blown out picture, it doesn't seem to be solved by just lowering the lamp strength.

Indeed. GI is unchecked too, whereas in the render shown on the page, it should be on, to have light under the stairs.
I'm just a beginner with V-Ray too, so for the moment I can't reproduce exactly the render. I'll work on it.

Hmmm this examples scenes... they have to be updated...

Needs a bit more treatment for noise but you guys can crank that up if you want.

Strange, your scene loads empty with only the lights visable in the Custom build (vrayblender-2.60-42368-macos-10.6-x86.tar.bz2)
If i open the same scene in the official 2.61 build the scene is there... but then i can't render with V-ray
Seems that the scene is saved from a newer build than my custom build 2.60-42368
