V-Ray/Blender animated diffuse map / disp map not working?

I've tried to use an animated file as a displacement and diffuse map, both options seem to give me a completely black object when rendered.
Is this a known issue? Have animated maps been integrated in the V-Ray 4 Blender?

Hey thanks for the reply, i'm not at home right now, so i cannot post any scene related material but it's good to know that the feature should be working fine.
I'll try to figure it out what caused it to fail later this week.
