  • Sun-Sky based on date-hour-location in B2.62/Vray2.0 ?

Hello there ! This is my first post on this forum and I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to Andrey and the awesome job done with vray.
I've heard a lot of good things about vray in general and how good it is for interior architectural visualization. What determined me to give it a try is the fact that Blender 2.63 will have Bmesh so it will be easier for arch modeling.
    I am currently using Blender 2.62.1 r44942 from graphicall.org on a win7 x64 ci7 8gb laptop.
Cycles is sadly too slow for my machine. So I want to use vray/blender2.6 to render interior scenes for school projects but I need to be able to render at print resolutions(possibly A1 at 150DPI). I hope that vray can pull off something like this in a few hours because cycles does it in like 10hrs>on low bounce settings.
Anyway what I need to know is if I can use automated sun-sky based on date-hour-location in vray like in this script for cycles =>http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Ex...n/Sun_Position.
I understand that in 3dmax/vray it is possible.

I hope I expressed my intentions clear enough ! Thank you for your attention !

This addon works in the latest Vray/Blender build.
Is used it for a project a week ago, just add the script to the addon folder and enable it in the user preferences and voila

It seems I wasn't clear enough then. I know it works for cycles. I've been using it for a while now. My question was if I can achieve that with vray in Blender without that addon. Like in 3dsmax there is no addon there it is just there. Is there some hidden setting in vray when I add a sun lamp to automatically update the sky based on location-date-hour numbers ?

Also if vray can't do this by itself inside Blender how would I go about adapting the cycles addon to vray specifically ? Like what steps do I need to take if i have it allready running with cycles ? What do I need to set to render with vray ? maybe also animate it ?
