• Black spots on animation render

Hi there,

I have a scene that renders out nicely as still image:
v-ray_still_01.jpg[/attachment:1sm1ohxi]

When I use exactly the same settings but first render animation(prepass) and then animation(render) there are some black spots in the render:

v-ray_animation_02.jpg[/attachment:1sm1ohxi]

Sometimes those black spots disappear when the camera comes nearer to these parts.

I used this tutorial:

Do you know this problem?

My settings:

Re: Black spots on animation render

Use Brute Force for Primary for animations or tweak IRmap settings...

WIth your settings you should prepass GI with IM Aniamtion (prepass) and Calc GI only and only then render in Animation (render) tweaking Intep frames.

Got better results now - I think it was mainly prepass min/max rate and better threshold was needed
