Vray doesn't show in the render button anymore

Hi,
I'm on OSX 10.6.8. The build is the last one from december. When I open this build I can't choose VRay anymore (the button at the top) instead of Blender Render or Cycles. I can see the directory 2.65/scripts/startup/vb25 (which I just updated). Everything worked fine before, I suspect that the recent change of the startup / preferences file could break something.
Anybody else has this trouble ?

With a fresh install, I can choose VRay render at the top,but I can't open a previous file, VRay will disappear from the menu.

Also, with this fresh install, no matter which output directory I specify, the image is written in the directory /var/folders/sw833q19dn14d_ld07c92cscqr0000gn/T/render_Camera.0001.png
I tried different names without spaces but it's always the same.

Hello there.
I was experiencing a similar problem. Are you using the custom build? Are you opening the file using the open menu?
I've discovered that the output only works correctly after saving the blend file. Otherwise it ignores the output settings and saves in some random temporary folder. I'm not sure if this is a feature or bug.

Thanks that's correct. If you don't save the file, you can't specify an output directory.
