Hello there.
As many of you may have noticed, one of the biggest problems I have is the 'delay' to begin the actual rendering process after pushing the "render" button. The problem isn't the exporting process itself, which can be avoided, but mostly the time Vray takes to load the scene.
Sometimes you just want to fine tune the render parameters or the lights and materials, and the delay is a huge obstacle on the workflow.
This could be solved by implementing the realtime stuff like in the repo vrayblender, but it's going to take a lot of time and I hope someone else will do this hehehe .
Vray has an 'interactive' parameter that when 'on' displays a configuration manager where one could easily adjust the render and lights settings. This is somewhat valuable to me and I'm using this feature atm, it doesn't seem to work properly with the rt engine but otherwise it works flawlessly.
I've been wondering if a checkbox to activate this interactive mode could be added to the vb25 ui. I'm not sure because the parameter's won't reflect the exporter ones, as I couldn't find a way to do this. So the user will have to redo the adjustments on the vb25 ui, which seems ghetto stuff. It's not the perfect solution, but it could really help some people I think.
Whatcha think guys?
