Hello again.
I was wondering if a displacement texture can be used to create an actually displaced proxy.
Well, here's the thing: I exported a proxy, loaded it as usual, and got this error:
"DOBCube_020PRTArc has no underlying mesh"
After exploring the settings, I noticed this error occurs when you want to apply a displacement to the proxy. Apparently, vray proxies do not support this feature.
My question is: can you bake the displacement to the blender object, and export it as proxy?
Edit:
I know there is an actual displace modifier in Blender. What I truly mean with this issue is: can vray be used to create a displaced mesh from a simple one and its texture? or: can you retrieve the displaced mesh vray creates while rendering (the one you see in vray FB)?
