  • 2.67 and Nodes

    Dear Bdancer,

I have no real experience of coding even in blender, so I would like to ask (hopefully) a simple question: Will the 2.67 release of vrayblender be able use nodes for vray materials fully, as the release notes mention external renderers being able to use nodes? I'm don't really know how to use the node materials at the moment or what their limitations are as I haven't looked at it for long. If there are going to be changes soon, I'll wait till its incorporated before starting to use nodes. I would be very interested to know if all the textures and colours etc could be controlled using nodes, a bit like with cycles (though its not totally essential, it would be nice!)

Keep up the good work, I'm really looking forward to seeeing what's next.

    Kind Regards, and thanks again.

    Rob.

    Re: 2.67 and Nodes

VB already support Material, Texture, Mix and Invert nodes. 2.67 release notes means that it's now possible to add new nodes using python, this will help adding some special vray related nodes.
