Hi,
I'm struggling to learn the in and outs of V-Ray and i just can't get a grip on getting a shallow DOF in even a simple scene with three suzanne's.
I use a physical cam bit even with F 1.0 i seem can't get any shallow DOF.
It seems no matter what settings i use the DOF is almost the same, the only difference is how much the materials get blown out.
I don't know if it's the older "20004_maya2010" version that have some limits or something else.
So if someone could set up a simple scene with a nice shallow DOF i'd be happy to try it.
Also the two test scenes (Cornell box and Volume Monkey) have the material broken for me in 2.6x all materials are just blank.
I suspect that either the OS X exporter or the V-Ray version i have isn't up to date.
I think we need more and better test scenes here, even YafaRay have more and better test scenes,
Please share some simple scenes so we new users have something to learn from.
I'd highly appreciate some help on this.
Thanks // Johny
