Black screen on rendering?

Hi everyone,

Please forgive my cluelessness, but I'm struggling to get Vray to work after installing what I think is all of the necessary software:

Blender/Vray (2.68.1)
Vray Standalone (Maya 2012 Demo)

I've extracted everything, and tried several fixes, but get the same result. Anyone have this problem before, and know how to fix it? Thank in advance for any suggestions.

How much time you wait? When the scene are very complex for example with a lot of modifier like subdivisio surface it needed a lot of time but could happen the camera settings wrong or the camera placed wrong.

Is there something I have to do, manually, with the extracted files, once I unzip them?

I'm just rendering the default cube, with a plane and sun lamp added, just to get something. Granted, I know nothing of Vray settings, so I may just have to change something, somewhere? Not sure. Thanks for responding - I'll keep trouble shooting. Mainly just want to figure this out before the trial expires.

There are several possible reasons... Have you seen the console messages? ( [Info Panel] > Window > Toggle System Console )

Thank you, Hugh! Apparently, my resolution settings were the cause for the error, and everything is working fine now. Very much appreciated the input. -Cheers!
