  • Mixing materials with node editor

    Hi.

Would it be possible to implement this into Vray/Blender build as in the previous versions?

It is seems there is no such feature, except mixing materials without texutres, or I just miss something.

To clarify, there is possible to mix materials without textures, it is nicely put into new group in node editor, but I found, adding new material node, mix node etc. is disabled.

So finaly it is possible to bring it back?

I found one more suspected thing.

When I am using texture with bitmap as a mix factor it seems to not working.
Other textures as dirt, falloff, noise etc. produce correct resoults.

Mix where? In nodes? Nodes are broken after pynodes integration to Blender. If you are talking about stencil it should work.

            Oh. ok

Yes I have been talking about nodes, I don't like using stencils, because it's disorganizing my texture panel

But for now I can handle this.

            Thank You again.
