When you use texture it is used instead of radius slider. Basically, I could add smth like that radius slider will affect texture contrast if it'll be useful.
Radius - this parameters determines the amount of area (in scene units) where the VRayDirt effect is produced. For further info, please see the Examples section. You can also use a texture to control the radius. The texture intensity is multiplied by the radius to calculate the final radius at a given surface point. If the texture is white at a given surface point, the full radius value is used. If the texture is black, a radius of 0.0 is used.
Smth wrong with your vray (or have you updated the exporter? there is "Update exporter" button under Exporter panel), here is my result:

I have tried to install fresh copy of Vblend and then I used export button, resoult is that vblend seems to not update itself. So then I used git, update Vblend and it's still not working for me. I will look how it work on Ubuntu
EDIT:
on ubuntu same effect, like it is ignoring my textures
Ah I have to wait for this as I am in the middle of project, and I have to back to the previous version of VBlend to make dirt different way
I hope it will work for me with 2.69
Hi,
