bake problem

  • bake problem

    I have V-ray 2.00 standalone

    And I'cant bake any object. I've used to do that in the past, but no, always get black image. I've even downloaded latest vray demo and build from your site upgraded the script to latest one, and still black Imgae.

    Even simple cube, -> YV Mapped as lightmap, Cube selected as baked object, and it's black. Any ideas?

    Ps UV channel is "1" and UV Map is named "1"

    Does anybody know how to bake using Vray?

      yea i use it at very well
      at this project
      viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1231

      you cant use 2nd chance for baking and u must select Chanel 1 to bake and Chanel 2 to tiling and ...
      if you have problem
      pleas say

      you can use this sample ( i create it for u )

        I've got file, and Error "No Camera"

        How do I turn on baking, Should I use render buton (Image) or there is somewhere hidden button to fire it?

          You have to activate Bake under Render -> Modules and press "Render" and setup params. Nothing hidden.

            i forget camera must added befor backing
            camera with any direction and position but must be exist

              Still doesn't work,

              I've downloaded V-ray demo -> Jul 08, 2013 2.30.01 maya2010 32bit and still, got black image with v-ray logo, resolution is OK.

                i see this problem from imported models
                for example my new game model created from 3Dsmax when i import it to blender - after changing material to Vraymaterial-in blender and press render to bake i see black render process ( and it done less than 5 sec )

                  I've made a few fixes and hope it won't be very confusing. Now you could name your channels as you want, but in the Bake options you have to enter its index.
                  Here is a example:
                  [attachment=0:3tyxxrx8]vb25_bake.png[/attachment:3tyxxrx8]
                  So, in this example the "Bake" channel will be used.
