materials in Vray for Blender

Hello!

I've just dowloaded a demo wersion of blender with vray. Can anyone tell me how to create materials in this program. I don't know haw to insert a bit map to material. Do I have to use a node editor do control materials, becouse now it's not working. What kind of ligft do you use?

If you want to use nodes you have to download vrayblender3 build from the nightly builds server; use wiki for how to do it: https://github.com/bdancer/vb30/wiki
In version without nodes you create materials / assign textures same way as in Blender Internal renderer.
