Hi there.
I ran into a problem with the custom build and proxies.
I created a Proxy from a mesh, with proper UV's and an image mapped to them. In the original mesh, the image showed fine, but when I tried to render the proxy (with the same material and image, of course), it was displayed only with the material color, but not the image (as if it was not assigned). This occurred while using the VB custom build 2.69.1. For good measure, I updated to the latest custom build and start-up script (bdancer-vb25-7718679.zip).
Now, with the updated software and the same scene: when I try to render the proxy, it shows the correct image (with proper UV mapping), as it should. But now the regular (Blender) objects do not show their material images (UV mapped). They look purple. I know the WIKI says the exporter is deprecated, but... is this a bug?
Just for curiosity, I used the old installation's uvwgen.py (2.69.1) instead of the latest one, and the behavior was the same as it was in the beginning: Objects had image materials (with proper UV's), while proxies did not.
Please refer to attached image, in which I used an RGB strip image mapped to both a plane and the proxy (they share the same material and both have proper UV's). The Blender object (plane) displays the image, while the proxy doesn't.
Am I doing something wrong?
