vb30 does not calculate the resolution correctly

I download fishy_cat_vray.zip and Blender For V-Ray(20151110, vrayblender3-2.76-4ceca60-x86_64-windows.exe) from https://nightlies.chaosgroup.com. And vray_demo_31001_maya2016_x64.zip from http://www.chaosgroup.com/en/2/downloads.html
The fishy_cat_vray has a resolution 1002*460, then I adjust the percentage to 50%, that is 501*230, but after exporting scene, vray says "error: The maximum resolution supported by this version of V-Ray is 600 x 450"

it seems that vray always try to render a scene as 640*480! Why?

maybe you are using demo vertion of vray?

yes, as I mentioned I am using the vray demo which is downloaded from official site

V-Ray Standalone Demo Limitations
- watermark
- max resolution 600x450
- max 5 lights in the scene
- slower RT refresh
- one DR license
- adding DR slaves from SDK is forbidden
