  • RT GPU bump not working

    Left image RT CPU, right image RT GPU cuda, same material settings.
    Using todays builds, Vray standalone and Vray for Blender.

    There was a minor issue that was making all kind of bump to not work in V-Ray GPU when exported from Blender.
    We fixed it today, so the fix will show up in the next nightlies.

        RT GPU Cuda, bump still not working.

            JuhaW, works fine for me. Are you using vrayblender35-2.78-2bdd08f-x86_64? Could you send me a scene that doesn't work?

              Yes, the same version and it works now. I didnt know Image file node > mapping settings > UV > Layer must be empty, not uv layer name.

                Very interesting. I was wondering why I was getting some weird results when I tried bump and GPU CUDA. So what mapping gets applied?

                    Ah, thanks. I always wondered about that - why the UV mapping rendered fine even when the channel name wasn't explicitly selected. Never really looked closely since it always worked
