    This file works in earlier build (tested on Jan 4 build 43097ed) but not in a current build (March 1 #35c70e0)

    This should be fixed with today's nightly builds.

      Thanks! I updated the exporter and it's starting to work. There seems to be an issue where if the camera is outside of the fog volume, the object material is rendered. The surface of the mesh also seems to be effecting the light getting into the fog volume.

        The changes in the latest nigtly (f000775) should address exactly the issue that the object was also exported thus blocking the fog. The change is in the c++ part not only in the exporter (python).

        The scene from the first post renders correctly for me, if it doesn't for you there is maybe another issue.
