  • "Fog color" with translucency gives wrong results (Standard Material)

    Hi!

There is a bug when you use Standard Material and you want to use fog color with translucency, Error happens because the script writes Fogcolor and Fog_color_tex into material parameters. Only Fogcolor is needed.
You can't use any of translucency options like thickness, etc when Fog_color_tex is written.

I did some testing more and found out that the main reason for this issue is how blenderVray builds Fog_color_tex. It's using TexAColor plugin to build the color and I think that this will wash colors a bit. I downloaded 3dmax + Vray trials to see how it renders the same
scene in Max. Results are better in max. Colors are there much bettter. I exported vrscene from max to see how max builds Fog_color_tex node. Max is using different plugin called TexMaxGamma.
