  • Linked Objects: Stuck at 0,0,0

    Windows 7
Blender Build: vrayblender35-2.79-db7795e-x86_64-windows is name of the download file from https://nightlies.chaosgroup.com/main#/blender. Splash screen says Hash: db7795e, Branch: dev/vray_for_blender/vb35
    V-ray version: Maya 2016

The previous bug that I reported is fixed, and Blender no longer hangs when rendering with Linked objects/groups. However there are 2 new issues I am seeing now:

    1) If I link in a group and move the group object and render, it renders the group at location 0,0,0 AND at the location I moved it to. So it is duplicated

    2) If I link in an Object, it cannot be moved from 0,0,0 at all. It also comes in at 0,0,0, NOT at the 3D cursor (grouped objects DO come in at the 3D cursor.)

    Thank you

    1. We'll fix that.
    2. On render or in viewport? I think this is what Blender does and we can't change that.

      2) Whoops, you are correct about that. I had forgotten.

Linked groups should render only once starting with next nightly build.
