  • Back compatibility of blender (nightlies builds)

    1.Hi everyone. Here is a thing: I am using blender vrayblender35-2.79-8ab182c-x86_64-windows for all of my projects. But when i try to use new nightlies builds (i've tried like 4 of them) i got error like this when trying to render (see attached image).
    New builds works fine for me when i create new scene from scratch in it but not when opening old one.
    1.1 My version vrayblender35-2.79-8ab182c-x86_64-windows.
    1.2. v-ray standalone 3.60.04.

    Hi,
    I'm getting the same message with old blend files.
    As workaroung, try disabling "Separate Files" from "Render Panel > System > Exporter Tab", it worked for me.

      Thank you for your help . It has worked only for one scene, others still have this error.

        i took one scene and delete everything from it except one object and camera (delete all materials via delete selected node tree) and i got new error. But can't delete some stuff (see image).

        I the end i test several scenes in latest build vrayblender35-2.79-00f6dd2-x86_64-windows (note : all scenes were made in vrayblender35-2.79-8ab182c-x86_64-windows ):

        1. Most of them don't work in latest build (Separate Files on and off);
        2. One works with Separate Files switch off;
        3. One works with off and on

        here test file https://www.dropbox.com/s/486vhktqumrc1gx/bug.zip?dl=0

          Latest Vray for Blender version, didnt even start to render. But appended your object and then render works.

              Why not if you want to render older scenes with new build.

                kropaman, could you send me this scene? Seems like some property is exported incorrectly.
