  • Render ID problem

    The renderids change randomly in single colors, this generates problems in postproduction.
    Not to mention that he will be doing everything again.
    Look at the rock, head and the pants in these few frames 25 and 22.

    The vray used is vrayblender35-2.79-e158460-x86_64-macos and vray 3,52 for modo.

    RenderID color is automatically generated, so I guess this is the expected behavior
    Maybe MaterialID or ObjectID channels are what you're looking for, since in these cases you can choose the color (and keep it constant across all frames)

      Does the object count changes in between frames?
      Render ID is unique ID and is dependent object count.
      If you need to create masks use: Object ID, Material ID, MultiMatte or Cryptomatte.

        A real misfortune that does not keep the render id in the animation sequence.
        Render id makes things easier, since you only have to connect the option for the render pass, and wait for it to finish.
        In the other forms I have to place everything manually.

        On the other hand, cryptomate does not appear in the render pass, I want to emphasize that it activates the image output in open exr, as shown in the video for 3ds max.

        Well, I'll continue with something else.
