Material Preview - Not Working

I'm new to V-Ray for Blender, so thanks for this community that seems great I have installed the plugin, but I don't see any option for material previews. I looked up some documents that show a separate rendering option from the drop down menu called V-Ray (Material Preview), however, I do not have this option. Any ideas?

This option has been removed, you just need to select V-Ray as current renderer and preview will be enabled.

Ok that makes sense. For some reason the material previews are not showing up though. Any ideas why that would be?

Does normal render work for you? Try rendering some scene and if it doesn't work, check output in the console.
