Vray for Blender Dead?

Hello my Name is Julian, i use Blender and Octane frequently for my work as a Freelance Designer. I recently switched to Cinema 4D and just bought Vray for C4D. I would love to see Blender 3.0+ working with Vray tho. All the info i find online is from 5 to 8 years ago.
Does Chaos Group dont realise what Blender has become? Or is Vray officially dead for Blender? I cant imagine anyone using a Vray-Blender Version that was made for Windows 7. Strangely enough, you can still buy vray for Blender on the official site, but no one tells you that it is totally outdated and limited.
Also an official Statement would be nice if there are plans to release Vray for Blender in the next 5 years.

This is the most official that has been communicated in the last few years as far as I know.
