I am creating some images I need using the Wrapper node applied to the material of an infinite plane. I notice the next observations:
Light on scene: Point light
Primary engine: Brute force
Secondary engine: Light cache
Sampler: Adaptive DMC and Progressive (same wrong result with both)
Primary engine: Irradiance Map
Secondary engine: Brute force
Sampler: Adaptive DMC and Progressive (same correct result with both)
- The issue occurs with different meshes on the same kind of scene, but always when the secondary engine is set to Light Cache.
Light on scene: Hemi light
Primary engine: Brute force
Secondary engine: Light cache
Sampler: Adaptive DMC and Progressive (same wrong result with both)
Primary engine: Irradiance Map
Secondary engine: Brute force
Sampler: Adaptive DMC and Progressive (same correct result with both)
- In case of using a hemi light, the shadows of the object projected on the wrapper object are weak and show some distortions. And same, it happens when the secondary engine is set as Light Cache.
Am I setting something wrong in Light Cache as secondary engine? Or could be this a bug?
Setup of the wrapper node (same in both scenes):
(Using latest build and official VRay 3.60.4)
