  • Export 3DSmax VRay scene with proxies for Blender version?

I'm not sure if this is possible yet. Basically we bought a scene on turbosquid (for a freelancer to use) which is in the old 3DS Max (.max) format set up with VRay and VRay proxies.
Is there any way to export this scene from 3dsmax including the proxies and all the shaders for use in Blender? That would be awesome and a great helper .

not likely. You can link the proxies in directly, but I don't know of any way to get any of the rest of the scene without converting to .obj or .3ds in Max. Also, you'll have to recreate the shaders manually. I've seen discussion, in the Maya forum I think, of importing vray information from a vrscene, but nothing like that exists currently for vb as far as I know.
