  • a couple of words - about preview textures in viewport

    1- Can we expect preview textures just in node in node editor as in 3ds max?
    2- In node "image file texture" all numerical settings not show in viewport changes and because of that have to do after every changes - rerender - to see the results?
    Any advice how to deal with this two points?

    If one object has 5 materials with uv image textures, I make 5 additional Blender render textures for showing those textures correct in 3d viewport.
    I dont know if there are another way.
    Win7 Ultimate 64bit, GTX 970, Standalone version: V-Ray Next 4.30.03,

      1. I'll check if API has some functionality for that, but afair thats not possible.
      2. All of the V-Ray nodes are only for render, they can't draw themself in the viewport, but I'll research what we could do...
