Any potential timeline or news on adding some of the new features that have been added to Vray into the Blender builds?
- OSL shader node
- Glossy Fresnel checkbox
- Vrscans (not sure how it works though - is there a separate plugin to load the vrscan materials? Does it work with Vray for Blender?)
I see an option for probabilistic lighting, glad to see that in the builds.
OK, so OSL nodes are in, but it seems there is no way to access the widgets. I was thinking the parameters would show up in a properties window like for other BRDF nodes for example. Is this a simple thing to add to the interface, or do the OSL shader files need to be edited with the parameters to be useable? Any help here would be much appreciated.
It does not seem to be working in the build that I have. I tried a few different OSL files, and none of them generated inputs. Here's a comparison of a Blender OSL, in Vray and in Cycles. Build I am using is vrayblender35-2.78-d5c01ef
