    Given various interchange issues in formats like FBX between applications, it would be neat to be able to use vrscene to carry the scene between applications and have the ability to extract elements out at either end - this would be a really nice way to preserve shading, etc. Is this something you could consider?

    By way of example, I have a large scene setup to render using V-ray. The scene was constructed in modo. I'd like to work with it in blender, but using vrscene, I don't seem to get the ability to access the component parts or adjust the shading, etc. It's effectively a read-only thing in blender (from what I can tell). I'd like to be able to use vrscene as an interchange format between DCCs, still targeting V-ray to perform the shading, etc.
