Hello everyone,
V-Ray 6, Update 1 is now out, introducing Chaos Scatter, Cell shading with V-Ray Toon Material, V-Ray Profiler, Bump to Glossiness, Interactive Rendering inside the Viewport Editor.
Alongside the new tools we also improved some of the existing ones and added Cylindrical decal type and additive bump mapping for the V-Ray Decal, new options to control the density darkness and add contrails to the Procedural Clouds, custom light decay controls for the V-Ray lights, NVidia AI Upscaling for the NVidia Denoiser, support for Resumable Rendering. We've made some pre render tasks multithreaded and significantly improved the time to first pixel and also improved the memory usage for textures in V-Ray GPU by 75% with the introduction of the new Compressed mode for texture resizing.
