Missing Material Select render element input

Hi everyone,

I have installed the latest version of Vray 5 to test it out. (I use 3.7 for production.) I am looking at the render elements and i noticed some of them are missing some pretty important inputs, for example, Material Select is missing the material input. I have checked the documentation and there is no mention of it there either. Documentation for other versions have this, and 3.7 had it, not sure why it is missing here. Any ideas how to make that render element work?

Thanks for the pointer - I'll log this in our internal system for developer investigation. As a workaround you may try using Material ID and adjust things in compositing if that would suit you. I will let you know when there is any movement on the matter.

With the release of V-Ray 6 for Cinema4D we introduced many new features and bug fixes. I am happy to share that we also fixed the input options for the Material Select RE. You can download and install the latest version from here. You can also check what is new in V-Ray 6 here.
