  • Control how many threads being used by CPU?

In V-Ray 5 for Cinema 4D, I can not find a place to set how many CPU threads V-Ray is using. I want to reduce the amount used for IPR, to leave some free for using HDR Light Studio at the same time.
    Any help on this appreciated.

you can use the task manager and set the affinity of the cores for C4D, I suppose. I'm doing that for Maya.

I don't know if that is respected by Vray-5 but there is :
Preferences --> Renderer --> Custom Number of Render Threads

Support for V-Ray 5 is coming to HDR Light Studio in a few weeks. Just doing final tests now.

Based on replies so far, I am guessing there is not control for threads.

This option is the proper way to limit the number of threads used by V-Ray. There is no way however to specify different amount of thread for Interactive or Production rendering - both are affected by this option.
