Is it possible to render a line drawing in V5? Is Sketch & Toon available?

Currently, V-Ray 5 for Cinema 4D doesn’t support the Cinema 4D Sketch and Toon. I have made a request for our V-Ray Toon Material to be added to V-Ray 5 for Cinema 4D. ( Request Number: VC4D-988 ) I will let you know when we have any updates on the matter.

V-Ray 5 does partially support the Sketch and Toon material shaders (Art, Cel, Hatch and Spots). Can you share what effect you are trying to achieve? We can look into it and see if it is possible.

As I already mentioned in this post and as you might have already seen in the Announcement post, we just released V-Ray 6 for Cinema 4D Update 1 and with it, we have implemented the V-Ray Toon material. More information about it can be found here. You can download and install the latest builds from here.
