Hello,
i have been working with vray for about 8 years now. the further development of the software was a single catastrophe under laublab. That's why I was very happy when the whole thing was taken over by chaos group. now, after about 2 years under the care of chaos group, i have come to the conclusion that vray for c4d is a niche product which is being further developed with little passion. please excuse me, it doesn't go any further. Hardly gained knowledge will be destroyed again in the next update. with vray 5 I have longer rendering times than with vray 3.7, the material preview never worked properly, you cannot work properly in places. the new renderings are often very noisy, the gpu rendering does not work properly (but is always announced in the greatest tones, that was also the case with laublab ...), the rendering times are longer and, and, and. please don't get me wrong, i think vray is one of the best render engines, especially for architecture, but not for cinema 4d. that makes me a little sad. I will now switch to other products, as the past has shown me that things cannot really go on here and that this is quite frustrating. nevertheless, thank you for all your efforts.
