    Why can't the Cosmos objects in C4d
    scaling asymmetrically like in Vantage would be great if you could fix this problem.

    Thank you!

    Is this an issue with Vantage or V-Ray for Cinema4D ? If it's the latter, you should report it in the V-Ray for Cinema4D sub-forum.

    Greetings,
    Vladimir Nedev
    Vantage developer, e-mail: vladimir.nedev@chaos.com , for licensing problems please contact : chaos.com/help

      Hello Wohnraumdesign,

      This behavior is controlled from Cinema 4D not from V-Ray or Vantage. To scale the object asymmetrically in Cinema 4D you need to switch from "Model Mode" to "Object Mode" for the Scale tool and you will be able to scale the object to your desire.

            Hello HarrySeidl,

            Have you changed the path to your Assets download folder? Make sure that you have read/write access to the set folder. Please open the Cosmos browser, then go to "...> Settings" and change the path to the default Cosmos folder. The default path is:
            Code:
            C:\Users\username\Documents\Chaos Cosmos
            Let me know if that helps.

                Hello HarrySeidl,

                Thank you for this information.

                Once you have set the default directory in the Cosmos browser, please go to "C:\Program Files\Common Files\ChaosGroup\ChaosCosmos" and open the config.json file (via any text editor) - and edit it, making sure you have the following folders and paths (keep in mind that the username should correspond to the account name on the machine):

                "working_dir": "C:\\Users\\username\\Documents\\Chaos Cosmos",
                "database_dir": "C:\\Users\\username\\Documents\\Chaos Cosmos",
                "updates_dir": "C:\\Users\\username\\Documents\\Chaos Cosmos\\Updates",

                Keep in mind that these are the default directory locations. Save the file and then see if things are working properly once you open Cinema4D and load Chaos Cosmos.

                Let me know if that helps.

                        So, now I have an new "problem". If I place Cosmos-Objects it works fine. When I close the szene an open it, the objects get lost. Do you know what happens here?

                          Hello HarrySeidl,

                          Are you using a network location to save your assets? If not, are you using a location, different from the default one? Can you please open the Cosmos Browser, go to 3-dot icon (top right corner)>Settings and send me a screenshot of the screen?

                          Could you also send us the cb.log file? Please go to Cosmos Browser > 3-dot icon (top right corner) > About > Open logs directory (cb.log).

                          Please specify the exact Cosmos build (you can find the build number here), your Cinema4D and V-Ray versions, and your OS.
