  • UVW Randomizer in Vray5.2

The new UVW Randomizer is really great!! With Multi Sub Tex inside .... many possibilities with one texture.. Thanks..

...and finally a way to turn textures 90° by setting min max to 90. The layer - transform solution don't seem to work unfortenately!

Doesn't transform work for you at all? It should work fine in production render if you put in a VRayC4DBake shader.

        Hi
I remember it worked, but now it seems to me that it doesn't, as any tentative to bake layer shaders gives errors and items involved are rendered with no materials assigned.

          Hello daniele_nicolaci,

Can you send us a screenshot of your layer setup? Do you only have the image and the transform effect? Do you use any specific settings or setup? Also, could you please specify the exact version of Cinema4D and your OS? Thank you.

            Hello
actually it simply happens baking a layer shader, doesn't a metter if I add effects or other shaders. I tested multiple configurations with same result.
I'm using latest nightlies build on R25.113, windows 10. CPU/GPU render engine give same result.

It also happens with same V-Ray release but on C4DR24, Windows 10 as well

              Hello daniele_nicolaci,

It seems like this only happens when rendering with the Interactive render. The layered shader inside VRayC4DBake shader renders correctly if the Production render is started. I have logged this in our internal bug-tracking system (bug ID: VC4D-1208 ) and I will let you know if we have any updates on the matter. Thank you.
