    Hi Forum,

    is it possible to use a Animation (Movie) as a Texture?

    Using this workaround it will work, I've not tested other options on newer builds though:

      Hello Rickmc,

      V-Ray 5 for Cinema4D has support for loading sequences of images via the native Cinema4D bitmap loader. Make sure to set the start frame and end frame of the sequence in the Animation tab of the shader as shown here. Currently, loading a movie file is only supported via the VRayC4DBake shader. However, keep in mind that loading the movie through the VRayc4DBake shader could affect the performance and quality. This has already been discussed here and here.
