I know R26 just came out, but wanted to just let you guys know that the cloth simulation works with motion blur but as soon as you have it tear the motion blur seems to stop working. Just wanted to let you guys know

Here's an example. The motion blur is there on the plane until it hits the sphere and starts tearing. Hope this helps!

Thank you for the report. I appreciate that. Motion blur is acceptable with cloth sim during my test and scene. Could you please check and discuss if something is not OK for you?

Hi Brian3D, just to mention that we fixed the motion blur with tearing cloth simulation in our latest release (v5.20.05). Just to note two minor limitations:
1. Motion blur currently is supported only with two subframe samples (nsamples). This is a limitation of the cloth simulation cache and Maxon devs mentioned they might be able to improve this on future C4D releases.
2. Any VertexMap or VertexColorMap used on the simulated object has to be added before the simulation cache is built. Otherwise it might result in wrong mapping in the render.
