  • TIP for speeding up the fog.

I have been testing out the latest Vray release and when I use the default environment fog settings it seems to render fine...

When I use a texture to break up the fog the rendering speed takes a nose dive and becomes very slow.

Are there any tips that I am missing to speed it up?

There are several ways to speedup fog render time, first of all try to increase the step size.

      Hey, xpez,

May I suggest to you try the Atmospheric Contribution option? It is available within the Light Option menu and tries with larger numbers. I think you should be happy with the speed and result.

      Happy Rendering,
