  • PhoenixFD rendering in C4D

    Hi,

Is there a way to render PhoenixFD simulated ocean stuff in C4D ? I know that PhoenixFD is not implemented in C4D, but I was wondering if there is any way to render out already simulated stuff.
Now that Beta6 for C4D is on the road i'm getting more and more interested in C4D.

    cheers

    Hello waaazoo,

Yes, you can render PhoenixFD simulations with V-Ray for Cinema4D. To do that, you will need to load the simulation cache files inside the V-Ray Volume Grid, which you can find by going to V-Ray menu> Volumetrics> V-Ray Volume Grid. You can find more information about the V-Ray Volume Grid here.

      Hi Aleksandar,

Thanks, but that doesn't work for Ocean (infinite) mesh, foam, splash, mist. It would be handy to have a PhoenixFD importer or even PhoenixFD for C4D
