  • Is there a good solution of rendering the earth atmosphere?

    Hi
I am rendering some images for a project about the earth. I use the textures from NASA but I struggle with the atmosphere.
I have tried using fog, and a sphere with fall off and it look ok from distance but close up I need the effect in the example image I attach.
The problem is to get it to fade out softly in space.

    Any good ideas?

      Hi
      Thanks for the Link!
It was helpful. I have tried some different methods and the best I tried is a environment fog with a object outside controlling the fog falloff with a VrayDistance texture in the fog transparency.
      Your render is really beautiful!!
