Hi,
Congrats on the V-Ray 6 release, it's quite an impressive list of new features and fixes that are in this new version. It's also really nice to see that customers are listened and feedbacks are heard, it's getting rare these days.
So to get to the point, I'm wondering if it could be relevant to change the default sampling settings ?
I came across a scene where the default noise threshold value of 0.01 didn't do enough cleanup. But neither 0.005 or 0.003. Then the Samples Limit got my attention, I cranked it up to the max and reset the noise threshold to the default value (0.01). and that was it !
But I don't know why ( maybe from using Corona on the side) , I don't have the habit to rely on both values. I've always played only the noise threshold, never the samples limit value. So maybe it's just me, but by default wouldn't cranking up the Samples limit to a higher value to make better use of the noise threshold make sense ?
