  • Pyro Shader in future VRAY versions?

    Hello

    with Maxon releasing the new Pyro Simulation Tools, will we get a fitting Pyro Shader in V-Ray in the near future? Sounds like a nice and quick way to add smoke or fire sims into a scene without having to use Houdini or Blender for it.

    the new pyro sims are really looking good.

    You can render them with V-Ray using the VolumeGrid since Pyro generates vdb caches and you need a way to load them back in and render them. Just make sure to adjust your color gradients (depending on which channels you are using) so their scale - the position of the color knobs - matches the result you are after.
