  • Help to reduce noise

Hello, I'm new to V-ray 5 but have used previous versions in the past.

I'm having an issue with noise in my internal render. When rendering a final image I have noise mostly evident in the ceiling area which I'm having trouble removing. I've tried upping bucket samp subdivisions and light cache subdivisions which has helped but not removed. Before I go bumping up further I was hoping for some advice on if this is the best way to remove this issue?

For the production render I'm using Bucket and CUDA

I have attached an image and settings

    Thanks in advance

    Hello jon_leeke,

Have a look at this article, where you can find detailed information about noise reduction and how to balance your render settings between good quality and faster render times. Try enabling the denoiser as it will help you get rid of this noise. Let me know if you need further assistance.

That's just the resource I needed, thank you. I will also enable the denoiser. I think I believed this should be turned off in the final render as the buckets would do the job instead but I can see it should be on in conjunction.
