  • Define (matte)objectcolor independent of camera- and lightsettings - need this as a color-reference, e.g. white or corporate-colors

Hi there, is it possible to define a color for an object, that is rendered independent of camera- and lightsettings. If you use the Cinema standard-renderer you can use the rendertag for this (matte-object color). In Vray I can't find anything. I need this as a color-reference, e.g. white or corporate-colors.

    Thanks a lot

You have several options, you can try this so that it will not interfere with your tone mapping and post production.
Add a constant layer inside the VFB, choose the color you need, add a mask to the layer using cryptomatte/multi matte to isolate the color on a specific object.
