  • Texture baking workflow: Camera Projections

    Hi there,
    Does anybody have a workflow guide for baking textures from camera projections? I tried recently and all I got were black renders.

    Could you please share a test scene with us so we can have a look at your setup? This seems to be working correctly on my end. Also, please share some more details about your Cinema4D and V-Ray versions, OS, etc. Thanks.

      Here you go, file attached. I'm on C4D 2023.2.1 + Vray 6.10.0

        Hello KernitTheFont,

        It seems like you are trying to bake an object which has been set as a shadow catcher and is not visible in the render. As the dome light is also set to Invisible, this is why the baked image is rendered black. Disabling the "Matte Surface" in the V-Ray Object Properties tag will fix this issue. Please let me know if that is of help.
