[Question]Same Enmesh Pattern on multiple objects

I can't figure out how to use the same EnmeshPatternon multiple objects. I want to create multiple balcony railings with metal meshes. If I group them with a null object, Enmesh doesn't seem to work. The same does happen if I connect all of them in on object. If I copy the enmesh object and add one to each railing it works but it is a bit tedious. Am I doing something wrong?
