export frame sequence via cryptomatte

hi,

I wanted to understand if there is a way to export a sequence of frames in alpha view using cryptomatte.
Let me give you an example, I have a video of an interior and I want to change the color of the curtains. Can I export a sequence of frames in exr format with only the curtains selected and in alpha view so I can import it into a compositing program?

Hey,

Thank you for your question. How about, instead of Cryptomatte, using matte ID? The object ID with render elements on top of this render element is an integer.

Hi,

yes I could use the right matte ID. I was thinking of Cryptomatte because it included all the masks without having to set them up first. I thought that once I selected the element and then saved the .VFBL file I would be able to obtain the desired mask in batch processing.
